I didn’t do much today. Mostly stayed in bed.

And when I wasn’t in bed and wasn’t sneezing I was playing Plants VS Zombies hahaha it’s an irritatingly addictive game.

Today was rather good I guess. Band in the morning. Went to college side first, decided to read in there instead of highschool bandroom because I was rather early/it feels weird reading in high school’s band room. Oh right, last night I went to bed at 1/2-ish I think, and then it was raining and everything was chilly and nice. I was also reading and didn’t want to stop. The reasons why I did was because well I was tired, and I glanced through the next few pages and knew that something bad and unhappy was going to happen so I decided to stop with the happy part.

Soo yeah. Band today was alright… Not too good, not as good as last week’s. Plus my tone kinda sucked. Inconsistent :(

Lunched at Curry Wok after that. During band I was really really hungry and my stomach was rumbling, audibly. So yeahh lunch! And then home/dropped by Tampines Mall for a bit before home.

Home, showered and everything and was out of the house after just a short while. Met classmates at City Hall MRT, we were supposed to meet at 6 but I think we started on our journey to Singapore Flyer at only 650+ haha.

Reached O’Leary’s Bar & Grill; it was brighter than I’d expected. Everything was okay I guess, food was alright, company was good, activities were fun, just that I guess I didn’t have as much fun as I’d expected to… There were fun times though, hahaha especially when I was with Kim Yung and there was a common object of affection in sight hahaha.

Oh right, eating competition was quite an entertainer, seeing OCS feeding Chin Kiat and vice versa hahaha.

Don’t feel like elaborating much else, but anyway after the event a few of us walked to Marina Square, then through Citylink Mall and then to Raffles City. Wanted to sit at Starbucks but it was too crowded, so settled for Gloria Jean’s Coffees instead, which was rather good :D Shared iced chocolate with Cai Tong and Trixie, the drink was good yay. Talked about Naruto for a while (should I start watching again?!), then moved on to… Class stuff. Well it was quite a nice time I guess; I think I’m more into quieter sessions like these than the crowds and all at the bar.

Left City Hall at around 2330, for home.

Cancelled my piano lesson tmr! Well I remembered about the lesson at around 10+ tonight and I was really bored at that thought so I decided to cancel; hopefully I can sleep in just a bit more tomorrow.

I had a rather good day today! Can’t wait to get off the com/read/sleep though. Haha I sound like being online is a torture. Guess I’m just tired from all the walking S:

Hmm so today I slept through all alarms (actually I heard them, unlike on other days when I totally am oblivious to alarms.) this morning because I was just lazy to get up, and then I finally got out of bed at 10+/11, had breakfast, got ready, and went to City Hall :)

Walked around a bit before Zhen Ping came, walked walked walked and got a few accessories. Didn’t get clothes/bag though, as we’d planned to! Think/home I can drop by some mall tomorrow to shop after band/before Spacebar, since there’s nothing much to do anyway.

Whenever I type “there’s nothing much to do” I’ll be reminded of all the holiday homework. I’m not even sure what hw we’ve got, because when I received all those stuff I just chucked the thought of hw to the back of my mind. Or maybe, out of my mind. Haha.

Looking forward to band tomorrow. Haven’t touched the horn in what seems like a while now, hopefully band tmr will be good!

TAG next week, the thought of it scares/bores me a bit but welll I hope it’ll go fine/fun. :D

There are conflicting studies about the risk of accidents on Friday 13th. The Dutch Centre for Insurance Statistics (CVS) on June 12, 2008, stated that “fewer accidents and reports of fire and theft occur when the 13th of the month falls on a Friday than on other Fridays, because people are preventatively more careful or just stay home. Statistically speaking, driving is slightly safer on Friday 13th, at least in The Netherlands; in the last two years, Dutch insurers received reports of an average 7,800 traffic accidents each Friday; but the average figure when the 13th fell on a Friday was just 7,500.[15][16] However, a 1993 study in the British Medical Journal that compared the ratio of traffic accidents between Friday 6th and Friday 13th stated that there is a significant increase in traffic-related accidents on Fridays the 13th.[4][17]. There are indications that there are more accidents on Fridays than average weekdays (irrespective of the date) probably because of alcohol consumption. My sims just got married (hahaha I sound like it’s a big thing). I thought there was some honeymoon after that but apparently there wasn’t. Was that in Sims 2? Forgot.

Yeaah I finally played it again, after quite a while. Finally shifted to that huge house, with nice furniture nice lightings nice car nice everything.

That’s why you play The Sims. To live vicariously through the characters. Because you know it’s impossible in real life… Okay fine maybe not impossible, but hard to achieve. That’s why you play The Sims, to experience the joys of being rich and successful and aim to be like that in future.

Of course if you’re the kind of gamer who likes to drown the sims by getting them to swim and then removing the ladders of the swimming pool, or who gets the sim into a room and removes the door, seeing him lose control of his bladder (haha) and then die, slowly but surely, or (insert any other method of sadistically putting a sim to death), well then it’s a different story. Then you play the game because you’re sadistic, because you cannot really do all those in real life so you like to see them experience pain in the game.

Haha okay I think I’m rubbish-ing already. When will I start on Hol Hw? D:

Oh, right, today after OP I was still kinda into the Traditional Childhood Games mood, and a lot of things related to TCG. I think I should start playing Hopscotch every day. Play with a group of friends, to develop social skills, rather than to sit in front of the laptop and play sims and, what, socialise with the characters? Haha.

I’m finally home, OP’s finally over, slacktime’s finally here.

Not that I haven’t been slacking, but now it’s for real, there’s nothing much to do (unless you count Holiday Homework, TAG, Band Stuff, JAM!designing, studying, preparing for A’s, …) and I can Sims the whole day. Surprise, I haven’t touched it in a week, or more, I think. Neither have I been playing Icy Tower a lot. More of Freecell than those two S:

Sooo OP was alright I guess? Reached school pretty early, okay let’s fastforward to OP time. There were a lot of our classmates who were watching when Rachel’s group presented, haha it’s kinda nice in a way.

I was rushing through my speech, I hope it was at least 4 mins +. D: I prepared the question I got asked! But welllll considering that I’d prepared it before, I guess it wasn’t too good. Nevertheless it’d have been worse if a question I hadn’t prepared was asked, so yeaah thank God!

After stoning and watching people play Icy Tower (with almost everyone in the class watching one game, and everyone screaming when the guy was about to die.) we finally moved off to Island Creamery, shared a doublescoop with Cai Tong, talked and laughed. Oh the walk to Island Creamery was filled with laughter and really lame and funny stuff. :D I was kinda high, I think.

After IC I walked to the busstop and realised, no 154! Forgot how I went home from there the previous time I was there. So anyway I spent a long time in front of the board which tells people where the bus goes and figured it’d be best to take a bus to Queenstown MRT before train-ing back. I didn’t get lost thankfully S: And yeah journey home was short (around same timing as if I would reach home normally) yet long (long train ride, no seats till I was 3 stops away from home).

Yeppp bused home and here I am, I think I should sleep, tired tired. Sims tonight I hope! It’s like I want to play yet the thought of playing seems not-too-fun and I’m kinda lazy too. Oh well.

I couldn’t sleep last night;

Went to bed at 0040 and I was still awake at 0108. I’d choose to think it isn’t because of OP today, but I guess that’s one of the reasons. I wasn’t feeling nervous inside, but outwardly I guess it seems I couldn’t sleep because of it. Which sucks, and I woke up with a slight slight fever (which is thankfully gone now) and fluuuuuu which is semi-present now.

So after Starbucks today we went back to school, and I went for PW/OP Prac.

Which was worse than the previous practices I had, in my opinion. For some reason, I was waay more nervous. Maybe because I was attempting to say stuff from memory. I hope I manage to get that nervous spell out of me tomorrow! :( One chance, go me.

And then there was Q&A, which was okay I guess? I really hope some question I prepared for may come out tomorrow, instead of some random question that I missed. Then it’d be sad because 1, I didn’t prepare for it, thus probably I won’t have a good answer, and 2, I “wasted” my time preparing for the other possible questions. Gah.

Went to T1 with my mum after that; finally some successful shopping haha. Dinner; I had Korean noodles at a HK Cafe. S:

My coffee’s delicious, I hope I’ll be able to savour it slowly instead of gulp it down and there goes my money. Yum. Feels very Christmasy, if only it were darker, colder. If it were snowing.

I’m drinking way too quickly. Sitting up here lets me spy on the people walking by. Haha okay I feel kinda stupid, being so happy over a cup of coffee and the nice atmosphere, save for the noise of downstairs.

I think I sound weird.

Hmm so today after clearing up all that glassy mess I was back at the com, didn’t do much, read a little,
went out with my mum at 4+,
had a hard time deciding where to go/decided against Marina Square because of APEC/decided against Vivo, Tampines One, …
Ended up heading to Orchard/Tangs.

I love Tangs. When I was young I really disliked that place, wondered why my mum liked it.
Disliked the architecture, disliked everything about it (esp. the fact that we’d end up looking at household appliances, as far as I can remember.).

But now I really like the place. The architecture uniquely stands out from the other modern buildings around it,
and despite the Chinese-y, Tang dynasty-ish look on the outside,
the interior always gives me a Christmas-y feel. Probably because it IS going to be Christmas soon and ohh there’re Christmas lights everywhere it’s pretty.
But yeah I really like that place, it feels cosy, it’s cold, it feels rather homely.

So despite the fact that I didn’t get anything today I guess I did enjoy the evening/night, although sometimes I felt like I was wasting quite a bit of time.

Especially when my mum and I were at Takashimaya, and there was nothing I actually wanted (unless you count that $359.90 bag hahaha) and we were just walking around looking for things to spend that voucher on. My mum even offered to let me get stuffed toys with that voucher, to which I obviously disagreed, because it’s a waste of money/stuffed toys aren’t necessary. I’m such a good girl. Hahahaha yeah right actually I might’ve gotten that dragon if I felt just a little richer. Parker can then have a new friend. :)

Got an iron instead, thanks to my marvelous suggestion.

Daddy met us there and then we went to have dinner, I had some North Indian food which was good but isn’t good anymore (I’m still feeling really bloated and it’s a rather awful feeling). Yep. And I had Nasi Lemak for brunch this morning. I won’t be surprised if I’m 50+++kg. :( :( :(

Actually I’ll be rather shocked, and I’ll be doubly motivated to exercise/go on a diet.
